Nicos Kouroussis is one of the Cypriot artists who has been evolving and changing his ways of expression ever since he has started his carrier. At his exhibition at ‘Silks Gallery’ in Germasogia, Limassol he presented his latest work. Works of art - executed in an unusual for the Cypriot audience way. He presented a series of digital prints with its central theme focusing on mythological elements.

This artist’s style is distinguished mainly through the material that he uses for his sculpture-like creations. He moulds the shiny aluminium metal into small and delicate shapes to create small “windows”, thus rendering a view into a world of symbolic patterns and interior-design elements. These “windows” are then fitted into a unifying frame, which presents a beautiful result that could be seen as a beautifully illustrated book with many chapters. |
